I was born in England, spent my toddler years in Singapore and emigrated with my family to Australia when I was seven. I came back to England in my twenties and now live in south London with my partner, our daughter, and an odd-looking dog named Lenny. Throughout my life I have loved drawing and after completing an illustration course at Chelsea School of Art over fifteen years ago, I became a full-time freelance illustrator. For many years I have been a member of the SCBWI and Children's Book Circle - regularly attending seminars, workshops and other events. My illustrations have appeared in magazines, leaflets, brochures, booklets, posters, children's educational books and much more. Clients have included Folens, Heinemann, The Independent newspaper, Times Education Supplement, Nursery World Magazine, Stanley Thornes, Tumble Tots, Cambridge and Brent councils, the Catholic Church, Early Learning Centre, and others. Some of my work is available to view on this website in the following portfolios: Vector illustration, Crayon outline illustration, Pen outline illustration and Black and white line illustration. If you have any questions or would like to see more samples you can contact me by email or at @AJLillywhite on Twitter or on Facebook. All illustrations ©Amanda Lillywhite 2012. Please contact me before downloading or copying any of my work. |
