My family roots are in south London but I didn't grow up here. I was born on a Naval base in Hampshire, my toddler years were spent in Singapore and we emigrated to Australia by ship when I was seven-years-old. I returned to England twenty years later and, after living in Essex and Cambridge for a while, now live near Brixton with my boyfriend and our five-year-old daughter. When I'm not writing I work as an illustrator, website designer and graphic designer.
